Thread: Sify broadband or sity broadband

There are two broadband internet providers in my area (tavarkere, bangalore)

1) Sify
2) Sity broadband

256kbps unlimited

sify: Rs.1000
Sity: Rs.1,100

Installation charges:

Sify: Rs. 2,000
Sity: Rs.0

Is it ok to go for the local broadband service provider or will it be a pita with local broadband providers?

If I was you I would ask people in the area who have this sity cable connection to see if there are any known issues.
I am using 256kbps sify these days and its alright no major problems.

The best thing would be take this sity for a month and see how it goes as there is no installation charge so nothing much to loose and if it works out ok just stay with sity then

get bsnl.. it beats both of them.. sify or sity can never come up to that standards.. besides.. bsnl unlimited is cheaper too..

but the sevice is horrible speed is fluctuating
