Thread: sify broadband problem

hi this is my first post i hav a sify broadband connection but frm few months http download starts frm 14KBPS and drops to 1-2KBPS and it stops but i'm getting around 34KBPS when i'm downloading in utorrent but i get 26-30KBPS on http 2 or 3 days before my account expires. i had enough of this and complained this to sify customercare and the prob gets solved for 2-3 days after i complain to sify customer care but after that the problem comes back and there was network activity even when i didn't log in i suspect someone is stealing my bandwidth in someway(either at local cable operator or at local sifydatacenter)

ya dude. i had exactly those same problems wid the sify. dload speeds suck.
i switched to bsnl. now downloading at somewhere around 300kbps..upload rate is around 96-100kbps.

I hate sify from the depths of my heart but I have got no option here except for mtnl which is equally bad in my area as the phone cables are too old and rotting.

I hope sify's wimax roll out comes with no hicups.
