I have sify cable inside my house as i used this first.but now not using changed to other isp,but the thing is i simply set the ip to "obtain automatically" and then the internet started.????
how come and speed test also shows tremendous speed
and it showed tata communications
yeah some timed its tata,then pacenet etccc ???

would they sue me for this.but my cable is of sify and i didnt manually configure the settings,it was default"obtain ip automatically

Better not to use it. You are not paying for that connection so if found out, they will charge you heavily. They may accuse you of hacking. Be on safe side.

sorry sangamam,i was in a joking mood,so i said to go ahead and use the connection.like meetdilip said,it's better to stay on the safe side.
i have faced one huge billing conflict with BSNL when i changed my connection from a limited data to an unlimited data plan,and guess what i was charged according to my old limited plan,and i ended up paying like Rs 19500 ,which of course i got back after 3 months after so many letter writings to officials.
