    Default sharing over the LAN

I was just wondering if there is any way we sify users can share our stuff over the LAN. I have heard about DC++ but it needs co operation from the Cable wallah. Isn`t there any other software which might help locate other users over the LAN. Guys this can really help us save time in dwlding stuff from the NET.
    My Ip is 10.12.46.xxx
    subnet 255.255.255.0

    Default It Works !!

guys you have to try this....download this software called...ipmessenger..or ipmsg....install it...the software will detect the LAN settings..It will show the users present on the same router....However it will work only if others also have installed the software and are up and running....now u only have to click on the user and drag and drop the file the that u want to send him...It is a bit tacky ....doesnt matter bcos it works !!! Also u can chat with the other users...I know this bcos i tried it in my college campus...it works on Wi Fi...So it shud work on LAN..

    install this
