i started with sify in april of 2007 only because its the only service available in my area. I was charged Rs3000 as an installation charge by someone who said at that point that he was a direct employee of Sify. Whenever the service went down it would take them 2 to 3 weeks to resolve. The service went down on the 14th of August and since i have made 32 calls to customer care including calls to their managers. I heard from them today tell me that with immediate effect they are with drawing their service from my area because their cable operator has refused to work with them. When asked about the installation fee they said they did not take any money from me and the representative hung up. They have failed to pay the cable operator for his services and so the operator refuses to service the line. Sify has refused to say anything about it and they maintain that they are nto responsible for the service working or not.
Such a pathetic service provider should have their licence terminated. If they dont guarantee a service they should just close their business down and stop this hoax show of theirs. pathetic really disgusting service. I have no words to express the bullshit that they are so full of.
