below are the plans from sify broadband applicable for Delhi but plans for other cities are more or less the same so this will give you an idea about thier prices
but please check thier site for upto date information

So, as we see it - there is no really *UNLIMITED* access as far as Sify goes - it is effectively 150 MB x 30 days, i.e. 3.73 GB/ month. Oddly enough, almost all other cable-based ISP's in Delhi - Primus HotWire, SpectraNet and Hathway have actually *UNLIMITED* plans, where there IS NO LIMIT on downloads per day.

but those 150mb limits dont apply at night, you can leave your torrents on all night

guys i'm confused between BSNL & Sify.. i want gud uplaod speeds for my torrents can u pplz temme whts the exact upload speed being offered by Sify NU plans..

plzz advice guys...

i'need uplaod speed to be around 256 kbps..

Mavrick I very much doubt it that sify has any plan with a 256k upload speed
may be I am wrong.

I have a 10mbps connection with blueyonder > home > home_offnet here in UK and my upload speed is just 384k
