    i think this language is appropriate for sify people..
    and i think this has been used several times by several people in various posts..

    If it was in my authority I would use worst words than that and If I had some say within the Parliament I would get a new law passed so that these isp's like sify can be sent to jail for life to make so many people suffer.

    The problem is we get a lot of kids visiting this forum as well... I have used that word myself some times on this forum in the heat of the moment and I would like you to report those posts if you find any and thy will be edited promptly.

    Yes sify sucks and I agree with you I have waited 10-15 days some times to get the connection back up and running and there can be nothing worse then having to wait for your internet connection when you have important work to do.

    i agree these words are ment for sify only :32:
    last time when i called sify i was talking to a stupid to whome i explained the whole problem and during all this time he was just saying hmmm hmmm hmmm (don't know why as he was using this sound on the places where even he don't need to acknowledge anything)
    at last i shouted on him
    Now will you please stop saying this hmmm hmmm, it sounds like you are farting from your mouth
    he replied: i am sorry
    and my reply was: YOU SHOULD BE, IT STINKS

    After this i had a word with sify Manager, one more useless creature on our planet

    Default Poor Service - Blessing in disguise for me...

    Never knew that sify is so bad before joining this forum... I guess sify just satisfied me over here...lol... Apart from good speed... I also used it free for 15 days or so... I'll share one more story of Sify's generosity on me... There was a time when my landlord asked me leave his flat(his son got married, so he needed it)...

    I was using sify pre-paid... n my validity period just expired that day... So I didnt renew it... & went to search a new home n all... But when I returned home... And out of curiosity tried to login through Sify dialer(was just hoping for 1 more day..lol)... It actually logged in... then I realized that that sify's server has auto-renewed it for 1 more month(I never opted for that option)... So I went mad at Sify... called their customer care... told them I dont need their services...cuz I'm shifting in few days... I got a reply that they will rectify it... But they didnt... 3 days later tax-collector of Sify came to collect the money of renewal... I explained him everything too... He apologized & said steps will be taken to disconnect it asap...

    But no steps where taken for next 15 days... I shifted to a new flat without paying them a dime... And ofcourse nothing is better than a free connection...

    I'll share 1 more pleasant experience with Sify later...

    i don't know one thing that why do they drop the speed,and how com they are still operating in the market after harassing the whole country??
    and for heaven sake can anyone explain why do they keep these useless CTO'S..who make our life hell..

    Once...for 2 hours...I got 80KBps download speed on Sify while being on a 64Kbps UL Plan. This happened 2 years back.

    Once...I got a 1 month extension without paying a dime. Don't remember the details now. BTW now I left Sify and am on MTNL BB.

    I have used sify and I would not say that it is very bad

    I also believed it might be one of the worst but I have seen many people in this forum saying that BSNL etc. also take a lot of time sometime even several days or weeks when they mend the problem. I thought of excellent speed in UL plans in DSL services but the speed is only around 30 kbps for 256 UL plans and 60 kb for 512 UL plans.

    If I compare these, I received a constant speed of more than 31 kbps in 256 UL plan with sify and I received a constant speed of more than 62 kbps in 512 kbps in sify. The sify lines have problems in rainy days, storms or extremely hot days often but in my case, I just call up the local sify dealer in my area that I want it resolved urgently. He sends the boys to fix the lines and provides every possible customer support and within a hour or two at the max, the lines are fixed and internet starts working fine.

    So, I am not still sure if I can say the sify services to be very bad. I have heard about airtel that they provide better customer service but I have seen people who has got two days for their lines to be fixed in case of airtel too. If I rethink for a second time, sify has overall been great to me maybe because I have the local sify dealer only a few hundred metres from my place.

    SIFY just sucks buddy .........

    iske liye chakker MTNL se bhi jayada katne padte hain

    1st month whne u give installation charge everything is gud .............but from next month it became a nightmare and moreover u have to give additional
    1200 /-Rs for LMC .................... what the big F yaar

    if giving LMC why they r taking installation charge ................. and vice versa .

    so buddies ........... SIFY sucks ...........
