Rep Power: 0     |  Very Poor Uploading Speed sify is poor in this case..i used to upload date to various site(s) and usually sify provide very poor speed .At 256 pack only get 7-8 kbps speed yeah download is 30kbps |

Rep Power: 1 | 7-8kbps...oh man thats too slow..wonder how you cope up with such a slow speed...it will be better if you shift to some other connections..surfing with such slow speeds takes out the charm out of it.. |

Rep Power: 5 | Upload speed is usually slower than download speed. For the 256 kbps (kilobits per second) plan, the download speed of 30 kbps (kilobytes per second) is about right (30 kilobytes x 8 bits/byte = 240 kilobits). The upload of 7-8 kbps seems to be fine.

Rep Power: 1 | upload speed of 7-8KBps isnt fine by any means...sify have blocked the ports used by torrents in order to cap the upload speed....thats why you are getting so slow upload speeds...in mtnl i get upload speeds of around 25KBps |
