Thread: Please help a upset german with sify

Hallo today I get my sifiy conection. It works with a dialing program that is installed on my laptop. I want a Wlan conection for internet use with my iphone.
On the second netcard I have a wireless accesspoint von zio the ip for that is 192.168.10.254.
Could anybody please tell me how to configurate the netcard on the pc and the which settigs i have to put on the iphone? I hope you can help me in Germany the indian peapel are known as the best for IT.

you can call your isp provider and ask them what to put

They could help me , also the Technican was not abel to install their stupid dialer Programm, so I had to install it

what kind of infos do you need?

What pc you are using?
what is the ip phone ur using name and model?
what is the sify pack speed?
and finally buzz me if you have any doubts

I have a sify connection as well and the only way I have found out to use my wifi enabled phone is by using a router.

Here is what you need to do..

Plug in the sify cable into the router first.
Configure the router as you would with any connection
login using your laptop to sify broadband
Once the connection is up and running Your iphone will find the wireless network on its own without you having to do anything.

Now your iphone should be connected to the internet and You dont need to keep your laptop on either... Do not log off when you shut down your laptop and Sify wont log you off for atleast 12 hours.

You will have to log on using your laptop if your connection goes down and there is no other way out.
