Default Its speed is so good to resist
I just downloaded ubuntu in just 10min file size is 700mb apprrox

And i downloaded all the songs from Songs.PK - Latest Bollywood Songs,Movie Reviews,Hindi Albums Reviews,Download Free Indian Songs injust 21/2 hours

its d/w peed is 921kb/sec....!!!!

Smile Sometimes Sify People Are ToO Much Happy
This Happens To There Network Failure.
Sify Can There Self Can Reduce the bandwith.
Like...
If U R Having 256 kbps plan n u get download speed of 30 KBps
they might reduce it to 64 kbps anytime or even 2 Mbps....
they have a tuner type at there centre or it happens sumtimes for bad weather....
i know it coz my friend used to work there

hi,
my package is also of 128kbps. yesterday i got a speed of 1.7mbps while testing it with ip-adress.com/speedtest and 3.3Mbps from speedtest.net. the downloading speed was 250kbps average. this started from 2pm in the afternoon till 11 at night.
what happened was my neighbour complained of getting gateway error. so we both went to the router and unplugged some of the pins and tried to connect it with laptop. they worked fine. after that we placed all the pins in right place, tightened them and returned. then i went to college for 2 hours and after returning i turned on the pc andthe downloading speed was 230kbps. 96Mb file got downloaded in 6 secs. this was only on my ip. no one else from our building got this speed.
can someone plz tell what made the speed boost?? or was it a coincidence with network failure?? i m dying to the reason so that i can do it again

..m getting only 10 kbps downloading speed and i hav plac 256 kbps unlimited plan !

check the the time in Klick_2008 pic.......this speed mainly occurs after midnight....it happened to me also....but i dont waste my time......i download NFS PROSTREET and NFS CARBON at that NIGHT

Could be various reasons. Like:

Bad weather
Unqualified engineer (trying to do something notorious )
Rats in server room (if they stored cheese for some reason instead)
Faulty hardware, etc.

Yeah i dont know y this happens ...but it happened to me too ...my connection is 256kbps but it keeps spiking to 512 or even 1 mbps ...one night i managed to download 493mb file in half an hour...very strange ...anybody got some info??
