Hello guys

I just shifted to Pune and would like to know from other members about Sify broadband. Unfortunately, the area I am put up in is having Sify connections only.

I checked the download speed in one of my friends place having 256 kbps unlimited sify broadband. To my dismay, download speed nevers crosses 18kbps

.

I have been a tata indicom customer before and for the same connection I used to get at least 30kbps download speed.

Any suggestions and comments?

Stay away from Sify. Where do you live in Pune? Have you checked with Airtel? In Pune 'You BB' and Hathway are also offering services. Both are OK in Pune (though not in other places).

Currently I am near Pune University. I will check YouBB and Hathway in that order

I too am amazed to find that not many people have good image about Sify

I cannot think why BSNL cannot provide you connection. I live near College of Agriculture (made famous as the Medical College in Munnabhai MBBS). If you canget BSNL, nothing like it. You should be able to get Airtel also in your area.

don't go for sify in any case, please check airtel or bsnl in your area. Sify can not provide you a stable connection anywhere.

i have relocated from Bibwewadi to dhayri pune. earlier i was using Hathway BB and was satisfied with their service, but they they dont provide service here. can anyone please suggest me which best BB service provider in this area.
