False promise by Sify Sales / Marketing team.


Review : This is my second writeup here regarding sify Broad Band connection earlier I have shown very clearly how Sify is handling customers here you can see how sify people handle customers after sale is done. I did signup for a Broad band which works good for one month and after that there was total disconnect and randomly connects.

I asked them for complete refund of system but their sales / technical team Mr. Amit Taygi of Chandigarh, and Mr. Girish - they confirmed me that things will be working smoothly as they have taken lot of measures - and sold me ATA box saying I will get Rs. 8000/- talk time. 3 Nos. of Internet Package of 128 KBPS of 1.5 Gb and make sure if there is any disconnection it will be rectified with in one hour. else they will refund the money. but the problem if disconnection was so regular and I asked them to refund everything. see how much is difference of their postsales and pre sales wordings

1) Pre sales they commit that there will not be any breakout if any it will be resolved in one hour max. And breakdown occurs for around 5 times in less t han 9 days and they responded me in night that it will be resolved only in morning. Nothing can be done.

2) you will get public IP, Password to ATA box, and 3 internet packages, IP they denied at later point and its only NAT IP you get. and password to ATA box was another story, they simply said no to it, but given at later end just to save their skin as they had configured the box wrongly. 3 internet packages, I got only one god know if I get other 3 too.

3) money back gurantee, now when I asked to refund the money as your services are not upto mark, on April 12, they have new story to tell you -- you need to call to this person and then to this person, the one who did a sale is always out of office and doesn’t carry a mobile, the other one who carrys a mobile is always out of office and never picks up the phone (this is amit and girish)

And customer support says, sir, sorry we cannot do anything as this is case of CTO, I have to understand if I lose my business, they can’t give you better services than this. I’m not sure how sify is going to handle this case--
