Though sify has been blamed for all its uselessness ... the true story behind their failure is some what far from visibility. I use a sify broadband service and am definitely not satisfied with it. However I observed that it was not sify’s service that sucked by actually it was the cable operators they choose to provide the connection..

First of all there is no predecided amount that is take for installation. Some take 2500 some take 3000. Secondly this people start their own net services and try to hinder sify’s reputation so as to market thier packages.

A true example comes frm Vasai Cable Pvt. Ltd. A vasai based sify’s operator who is literally makin a profit outta this business. The operator first gave an excellent service bringing down his installation charges and stuff. However after a few months he announced his own net packages, after which the dream crashed.

Sify subscribers were now troubled by getting their connections disconnected, frequent interruptions and every sunday (which is actually a full day free net by sify for win win pack customers of sify) operators disconnected the network givin some excuses.

This created a bad impression on sify’s name among the subscribers and customers started shifting to his private pack.

This just shows how sify should improve on its standards coz service is not everything.
