Thread: how to stop spam mails? and how to delete full inbox mails at once?

hi guys... i have a yahoo mail account.. and i dont know everyday i get tonnes of spam mails.. tell me the solution... i have tried many times clicking on spam tab.. still is of no use.. the mail keeps on coming.. [iluvshannonoffwebshots] thts the title particularly..

i donk know whether its one of yahoo groups or not.. i checked yahoo groups.. there also displaying i have not subscribed any groups!!!!!!!1 still this spam continues.. and guess what.. i have around 3000 mails in my inbox... pl tell me how to stop it.....



more.. i wanna delete my full inbox at once.. all 3000 mails.. tell mw is it possible to delete all mails at once? i mean i cant sit mark all in one page delete .. angain next page mark all.. delete.. thts too time consuming.. so pl give me better ideas.. thanks...

how do u access ur mail ?? web or client ??

web only.. i dont use outlook or anything..

if you want to delete all then just select all mails by clicking select all then click delete

read tht carefullly.. its not so simple select all n delete.. tht will delete only some 20 mails which will be displayed at tht time on tht page,, not all.. so if i wanna delete those 3000 mails.. probabely.. 150 times i will have to SELECT ALL AND DELETE...

well i suggest u use a client , a client has better spam protection options

well... but it doesnt work on yahoo... and using client will be later.. my inbox memory is full.. 1st i should delete those mails.........

not much i see in yahoo, i really suggest g mail or rediff

they might be able to help.

well id is not tht imp.. but i m tired making id n not using it.. so tot this time i will fight back...

toking more contacting to yahoo ppl for to fix problem.. i think they have ppl like me in millions.. who all they can serve............practically impossible..still i will give it a try
