Ever tried to download subs for few gigs of movies you jus copied from your friend.

It can be a boring task, even if you are not a lazy goose like me !

U can try two softwares for that,\
1. Oscar (Freeware)
2. Sub Downloader

Oscar:
All that you have to do is, drag and drop the avi files into the main window.(note MP4 and other format may not be supported)

Set the required lang. in preferences

Click on search. You may get many subtitles, and any ratings it may have.
Basically it downloads the subtitles from opensubtiles.org

Very bandwidth efficient.

Subdownloader :

Its a more advanced program eith the features,
automatic download/upload subtitles for videofiles (DIVX, MPEG, AVI, VOB,etc)
Fast hashing algorithm (27 GB movies/7 seconds)
Recursively folders search
Autodetect language of the subtitles
Upload entire series seasons subtitles in less than 1 minute
the only disadvantage is its more bandwidth intensive, otherwise great.

The status of this software (freeware/shareware) is contradicting.
