i think google apps is the mother of all..

I've seen Google docs before as well, but how secure is it, i mean when you upload something is it only available on your email, its nothing shared is it?

Can documents in your Google docs be downloaded on to any computer?

yeah... google docs is secured... its not shared until & unless u wanna share it...

u can download documents from google docs on any computer as well...

the firefox add-on called Gspace can help use your unutilised Gmail space as an online storage space for any number of files

You can use Skydrive for uploading data online which is for free and have capacity of 25GB. Even google doesn't provide that much space..
