Avira free version just has an antivirus, but its paid version has much more like antispyware , firewall e.t.c

its a bit better when it comes to updating it... free version only allows updates once a day.

thanks man, my license had run out last month and was back to free...

n also there are no issues with the download speed of the major updates... tho they have greatly improved the bw for the free version as well.
