Thread: Best IE8 features on Firefox!!

Well it seems the tables are turning somewhat, with Firefox having some features being taken from IE8 (and i am NOT complaining ), well at least through addons.

I like the way IE8 manages tabs, giving different colors to each tab groups, and opening new tabs for a group not on the extreme right, but in the group itself. I found this feature very useful and it sorted out the many tabs that i opened.

Now i found this new addon for FF to do just this on good ol' firefox....

Give it a shot and u won't regret... I'm thankful to the guy who brought out this feature for ff, i really missed this feature in ff....

It made the experience even better, when i got these other addons too...

1) IE8 Activities for Firefox

2) Private Browsing <---Still in beta, but no problems or glitches seen by me

NOTE for Tab Kit (first addon), turn off tab highlighting in its options, it turns tabs ugly in my opinion. rest is up to you .

The third one is yet to become a final release and is still at test / beta level. The other two are really cool and works with FF3

Yes its in beta still, but i am using it and do not find any flaws with it... works well on ff3.

For Private Browsing there was already an addon called Stealth. Same features I think. The colored Tab addon is cool.

I'm a little scared to install IE8 beta on my ssystem...since IE7 beta created a lot of problems in uninstalling.Will wait for the final version.
Till then, this will be neat to try with FF.

I have Internet Explorer 8 beta installed. No problems yet. But I like to use Firefox.
