I use the Registry Checker in CCleaner...its free.
There are tonnes of paid software, & you can find working versions if u google.
But its best to avoid registry changes using these automatic programs.
They corrupted my hosts file once.
    Better to manually edit sometimes.

If you want to spend penny for that then you can go for Uniblue Registery Booster. Though it also provides trial version and also online free scan.
I am using this for long time and it's simply great.

Uniblue is also having 2 other products Uniblue SpeedUpMyPc and Uniblue SpyEraser..you can try that also..

Nopes only a handful of specialized softwares cleanup the registry as well as defragment it. Both are different processes.

Use Advanced SystemCare. It have a good registry cleaner and some other useful utilities. Also, use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall software.

Your Uninstaller Pro...what do u think of this software? Have u used it? I was a Revo fan until i came across this. I had problems uninstalling KAV using Revo, the PC always hung. But with YUP, no such problems.

Revo Uninstaller was the only 3rd party uninstaller I knew. I have never faced any problem with it. I will give a try to Your Uninstaller.

Update: After trying Your Uninstaller, I think Revo Uninstaller is much better. It's interface is simple and makes you believe that, it does advance/deep scanning to find unneeded files or registry. And Revo Uninstaller is much safer.

I lost all my Program shortcuts after trying the Start Menu cleaner in Your Uninstaller. I used the Sort feature.

    Oops sorry !!

I had faced problems with Revo while uninstalling KAV 2009. Hence i was recommended YUP by a senior colleague. Tried it and found to be much effective. And hence thought of posting it in here.

No problem. I like testing new software. All it took was a system restore and every things back to normal. Revo Uninstaller have a cool feature that automatically creates restore point before uninstalling each software.

I have never used Kaspersky products.
