The dreaded UAC (User Account Control) which had captured limelight in Windows Vista is back again in the news. Microsoft has promised that Windows 7 will be featuring an advanced and secure UAC module. Default settings will be strong enough to ward off any major malware and users will be given more options to tweak them. The current avatar of UAC has been much criticized by security experts all over the globe.

Windows 7 is currently in beta stage with prospective RTM on October - November 2009.
