I used DAP for this. Worked without issues. IDM will also help.

Paid - Internet Download Manager (IDM), Internet Download Accelerator (IDA)

    Free -

    Download Accelerator Plus (DAP),

    Flashget Download Manager,

    Free Download Manager (FDM)

I used to have IDM, after trail period of 30 days, now I am using FDM and currently downloading Windows 7 using it.

I have used IDM, IDA, DAP and FDM, of which I feel IDM is the best. You can use it till trial period is over and then think about managing a key or switching to another software.

DAP is the leader in download managers. Click here to download.

IMO DAP has become too bloated , not to mention that it has nasty ads as well. The one feature which like in it, is the search for mirrors option. It was a boon when i had dialup.unk:

I find IDM , to be one of the best, and its integration is very good too. And it works with RS too. One disadvantage is that it doesn't maintain history very well.

Ans IDA is also one of my favorites, its as good as IDM, no complaints

Featurewise, DAP seems to be good among free softwares. We can get rid of ads in Premium version. I am not much impressed with FDM and Flashget. FDM has a community feature which warns of spyware URLs. Apart from that it is quite ordinary.

Not used DAP for quite a long time. I started with DAP when I used to have dial up. We always like the first software. Apart from ads, I felt it more comfortable than FDM and Flashget.

My recent trial with DAP had some good features (don't remember now) which was not there before. But as you mentioned, I prefer IDM and IDA over DAP.

I had to uninstall IDM after trial period, even after using crack. Nowadays the need us to register using our email ID after 30 days. May be they are smarter these days. So thought of recommending DAP over other freewares.

I had some virus problems and a few other issues which used to force a reinstall once in every month. So never had to face the trial period problem. Now I found ways to rectify it and hadn't reinstalled even after one month.

sorry i didn't mean like that, i meant, once you click download, it takes over download. But the actual download process does not work with RS with many other DM (tats untill i tested them).

You can try crytpload for automated RS downloading, i've been using it for almost a year now.

its a direct 2.5 GB single link file. U can stop and resume it whenever u want.

Default Free Download Manager is Good

Free download manager is a good solution. You can limit the time of downloads too(say 2 am to 8 am). and an option "hang - up when done" is pretty much good. you can save your extra bill!
