    Default Dynamic Contrast Ratio

    DCR means Dynamic Contrast Ratio

By controlling back-light, adjusting brightness and enhancing contrast ratio to express sharper, clearer and more detail motion picture. When back-light declines and contrast ratio increases, sharpness will be improved and dark part will be more detail and clearer.

    DCR Benefits:
    • Makes Black color more Black
    • Increases Contrast Ratio
    • Reduces Power Consumption

Therefore, one will enjoy watching or a game more with DCR!

DCR is nothing but pure advertising gimmick. Look for real contrast ratio. You will be lucky to get more than 3000:1.

DCR is to contrast what PMPO is to amplifier power.

yes. always go for real contrast ratio for video equipments and RMS for aplifiers
try getting a contrast meter and ask the people at the shop to test using that. they will run away like they have seen the ghost.
