Default Free tools to recover permanantly deleted files!

    Hi Guys!

i searched this and found very useful..........these 3 tools are free and can recover permanantly deleted files! just try these!

    * Restoration 3.2.13 – No installation is needed for this application and it is so small that it could run on a floppy disk. This is great to store on your USB drive and carry around with you so that you have it easily accessible when it is needed. Not only that but this tiny little application also offers the ability to permanently delete a file from your hard drive.

Download:Download Restoration 3.2.13 - Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin - Softpedia

    * PCI File Recovery 4 – This program is a little larger because it is available in various languages. It does require installation before being able to use the features.

Download:CONVAR & PCinspector Data Recovery Datenrettung recupero dati datarecovery récupération données

    * FreeUndelete 2.0 – The size of this application is similar to the previous one and also requires installation. This is only free for personal use.

    Download:FreeUndelete - OfficeRecovery.com

    Restoration :

when i tried it in my computer, it was able to recover deleted files. but when i tried it on my friends computer, whose HDD was formatted all i got was "%$^^*&*(" as file name.

so i'm mixed thoughts about its performance. duon't know about the rest.

Good work in finding them. Rep++

Undelete tools will work well if the files are recently deleted. For recovering old files, it depends upon whether the empty space was overwritten or not.

well imo, the results of diffrenet software varies for same harddisk & same files. I've literally tested 100s of such utilities (both free & shareware).....but no onw works if u have done lots of activity after the data deletion

    Default free undelete software

i used this free undelete software which helped me get back most of the files back that have been emptied from recycle bin.
    wanna share it, too.
since i'm not allowed to put a link here, i guess i'll just do this:
