The review is about Opera 9.6. Opera 10 beta 2 is a whole different story.

Google Chrome would have been great if it had a working adblock and the stored passwords are hidden. SRWare Iron solves those problems but the updates are really slow.

Any news about add on facility in Chrome ? Now all the buzz has change to Google chorme OS. Nobody speaks of add on in chrome.

Google has added themes for Chrome 3.0.196.2.



Themes can be downloaded from here.

archer can you tell about the different versions of google chrome. i saw about 3-4 in softpedia.

v2. beta
v3.0.190 beta
v3.0.196 devoleper

Hey how to update chrome2.0.172.39 to Chrome 3.0.196.2.?
when i click on "about google chrome" it shows me it is up to date.

i guess they are all separate versions like Fx 1.5, 2 ,3.13, and 3.53

Don't know about that. But you can get change logs and some other info from the first to latest release of Google Chrome here.

You have to be in Developer channel to get devoloper build updates. Latest and all builds of Google Chrome can be manually downloaded from here. Or Chromium builds from here.

Chrome and Firefox are about the same speed in Linux (Ubuntu). So I prefer to use Firefox.

Minefied is Firefox 3.6 Alpha right ? Or is it a modified Firefox release ?. I am using regular Firefox 3.5.

Chromium builds are updated many times a day when Google Chrome builds are only releases every week. I downloaded Chromium 3.0.198.0 (22654) yesterday, which is not yet available as Google Chrome. Today Chromium build 22721 is available to download.

i tried new version(Beta) as they said the speed is improved by 30% my speed is getting increased but not by 30% but 5-8%.

Chromium is the open source web browser Google created by using other open source tools. Anyone can download Chromium source code, and modify it to their requirements and distribute it, following the BSD licence rules. Google Chrome is the closed source version of Chromium which only Google can modify.

There are other modified version of Chromium like SRWare Iron which has inbuilt AdBlock filter and privacy features.
