    Default Free PDF Convertor: CutePDF

CutePDF is free PDF converter tool. CutePDF Writer installs itself as a "printer subsystem". This enables virtually any Windows applications (must be able to print) to create professional quality PDF documents - with just a push of a button!

Instructions - How to install & to use:

    1. Download "converter.exe" and "CuteWriter.exe from CutePDF

    2. Install "converter.exe" first followed by "CuteWritter.exe

    3. Go to Start -> Printer & Faxes & set "CutePDF Writer" as default printer.

If you want to convert word doc to pdf.
Go to File -> Print & select CutePDF Writer & click on Ok.

In the same way you can convert anything to pdf that has the print option.

There are many of them. But some of pdf documents are image files converted to PDF.
In that case you will need to use a PDF Converter with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature.

There is a plugin available for Office 2007 to Save As PDF, but not for older versions.

    Download Links:

2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF or
2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS
