Web Based Training stands high on score as the higher speed internet connections and conferencing software enable the users around the world to communicate in real time with each other. But one of the limitations of the Web Based Training is that there is a lack of multimedia in many Web Based Trainings. In Web Based Trainings you essentially need audio and video. Then you are away from realistic job simulations and you cannot even accommodate different learning styles. The Web Based Training requires full multimedia and companies provide that too but even with high-bandwidth internet or intranet connection if you use large media files it will slow down the entire network. Most of the Web Based Training is comprised of rich text and graphics and the bandwidth problem needs to be solved.
