Rep Power: 1 | In case you want to copy a few files from one Computer to another computer and you find that the size of files is large, it takes lot of time to copy a file over network. In such situation you can compress the files. Windows XP provides an option called Compressed (Zipped) Folder to compress the file. Compressed files occupy less space. To create compress files, click the Drive where you want to create compressed folder in the left pane, click on the file menu and point to New then click compressed (Zipped) folder. A compressed Folder is created in the right pane. Drag the files to the compressed folder. The files are automatically compressed. Then you can rename the compressed folder. |
