Rep Power: 1  |  Google’s Chrome Web Browser Google’s Chrome Web browser has upstaged Microsoft’s coming Internet Explorer 8 browser. Chrome is promised to be used for the Mac and Linux users. Its main features include rapid installation, instant booting, and incredibly fast access to web pages. The chrome is built on a browser called WebKit (STET), which is an open-source browser engine. This has some more features like new web addresses open in tabs, popups are blocked by default. The screen display is clean, bookmarks are available. But there are some drawbacks like it is unable to work efficiently in online Photoshop elements, security is vulnerable and since it runs on Windows, it is easy to be hacked. |
