    Default Opera 10.5 pre release

Opera 10.5 is here, but as a pre alpha release, of their awaiting and upcoming Opera browser.

The new Opera is a browser for users who don't want as much stability but instead are looking to finding report bugs.

Browser Opera 10.5 can be used for Windows and Mac users

I'm die hard fan of Opera!
I instantly download every beta version & test it...
I use ff only for Gmail & Orkut, because opera does not allow to type in hindi or marathi which ff does....

Main edge of Fx is its galore of addons like flashgot, firebug the greatest webtool according to some , addblock, ghostery to some cubersome etcetc.

But if you are looking for speed go for chrome ( see any results they will tell you that), it is fastest if for features then Fx.

    Opera is also good.

But for IE see the acid3 test results. Its below average.

    • New Application Layout is cool. The menubar is hidden by default, like in Internet Explorer 8.
    • The new javascript engine, Carakan loads pages (like forum) way faster than previous versions of Opera.
    • New version of rendering engine, Presto 2.5 (don't know what's special).
    • Private Mode in Opera 10.50 pre release alpha works easier and better than in Firefox, Internet Explorer 8 or Google Chrome.
    • Skins for Opera 10.20 or below are broken in Opera 10.50 pre release alpha.
    • Normal webpage loading is a lot slower than the previous versions of Opera.
    • It's is full of bugs and crashes a lot and some of the useful programs in Opera 10.50 pre release alpha is broken.

he he If we have speed >= 512Kbps then it does not matters which browser we use.Pages will open quickly.

IE8 , FF, chrome all are good. Browser is something which is personal taste. I use IE8 as i find it as fast as FF. I don't feel any need to have add-on for IE8.

The main reason I use Opera is because of the built in IRC client. It's clean, easy and only has the useful features compared to the other standalone IRC clients and ChatZilla addon. Firefox is my favourite browser too.

    My custom Firefox layout

    and custom Opera layout

One of the features I like in Opera is that it has a custom Reload feature. You can set the duration for a particular webpage to refresh automatically.

You can get that feature in Firefox with Tab Mix Plus addon (In addon Options-> Menu-> Main Context menu-> Reload Tab Every).

Thanks for sharing. However, it's pretty tedious when not having the option at the right click context menu..

Enabling "Reload Tab Every" in Tab Mix Plus will give you the option to change reloading time to a pre-set/custom value from context menu.

In my office, cricket sites are blocked. I keep track of scores from a site which doesn't refresh automatically. Hence, this feature is useful in that scenario.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm stupid.
