Google has launched a couple of web based applications in the recent times which somewhat takes on the products included in the MS Office suite.

However, Google has denied that they are aiming to develop a potential challenger to the domination of MS Office Suite.

Even Microsoft has now said that they are not really worried about the threat posed by products like Google Docs and Spreadsheets.

Microsoft representative Antoine Leblond said in a statement: “The simple argument that ‘this is good enough for 90 percent of what we do’ has fallen on its face over and over and over again. When it comes to mission critical things and key pieces of how people run their businesses, the threshold is higher.”

Microsoft is due to launch their latest edition of Office, MS Office 2007 by the end of the month to their business customers.
