Default Windows 7 Stability and Reliability Update

Microsoft has released two reliability updates for windows 7 namely KB977074, KB974431. While they don’t any new feature, they are actually meant to take care of quite a few bugs present in windows 7.

Install KB977074 to resolve issues with keyboard function keys, shortcuts , notification area icons, and also with screen saver, sleep issue ( a black screen is displayed when is a screen saver is active, instead of the computer going to sleep, and this could only be resolved by rebooting the os )

Install KB974431 to resolve issues with printing of PDF’s generated by MS office 2007, secondary monitor, hibernating 32 bit OS’s which don’t have PAE and have DEP disabled , and when using embedded media player in Internet explorer, and certificate installation problems.
