Default Cutting edge motherboard from ASRock

ASRock has just introduced a new motherboard which supports all kinds of new technology, which seem to be still in the drawing board of competitors.

The motherboard, P55 Deluxe3 , sports a true 333 functionality - It has USB 3.0, SATA 3 and also E-SATA v3, all the latest of their category.

Apart from this , it has a LGA 1156 socket which supports Inter core i7, i5 and i3.

The board uses a true 333 bridge which gives maximum performance without affecting that of the PCI-E slots.

It includes 2 SATA 3 ports, 6 USB 3.0 ports , 2 PCI-E 16x slots and firewire and e-SATA one each. The motherboard also has an inbuilt instant boot linux for performing basic functions.

For the games , it includes both crossfireX and SLI to handle multiple GPU’s and also a 7.1 Channel audio.

Mozilla has warned that two the experimental add ons found in its extensions page were found to contain trojan. Now they have been removed.

According to mozilla all add ons submitted to it are scanned for any malicious content before being posted on its website. However the add ons in question - Sothink Web Video Downloader v4 and Master Filer (all versions) had trojans in them.

Installing either of these add ons caused the host system to be infected by an trojan, which would not be removed by just removing the add ons .

The problem apparently was caused because the previously existing malware checkers were insufficient and the trojans were detected only after the addition of 2 other anti-malware.

The infection would be detected by major anti-viruses such as avast, AVG, G-DATA, McAfee etc.

One of the most popular freeware email client, thunderbird saw a major release with v3.0 recently after a long development period.

Mozilla is now planning to speed up the update/ upgrade process of the e-mail client just like it dropped v3.7 of firefox. Instead mozilla plans to release new features as small incremental updates instead of going for a major , time consuming update.

In sync with this, the next update of thunderbird namely v3.1 code named as Lanikai, has been developed and has reached the alpha stage. It specifically uses the Gecko 1.9.2 engine, which can be used to power the plun-ins similar to the ones in firefox.

It features a lot of stability and memory improvements, general fixes and tidying up of the user interface.
