Windows 7 might just turn out to be the most popular version of windows after windows XP, but it does have its share of problems. Recently Microsoft mentioned that some users can face a blue screen of death (BSOD) for no probable reason.
The users who face this problem will get the error “STOP: 0x0000000A (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4) IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Microsoft states that the four parameters will vary depending upon how the particular machine is configured.
It is supposedly caused since the power manager uses an advanced local procedure call (ALPC) port but after using it , instead of closing the ALPC port it closes another port. Due to this memory leak occurs and this causes the computers to crash. Those affected may install the patch issued by Microsoft, how it is also mentioned that not all STOP error may be related to the above issue.
