    Default Microsoft F#

New in the dot net framework 4 package is the programming language F3. This has been released along with the visual studio.net 2010.

F# is a language which has been in development for quite some time. The version included with the RC of visual studio 2010 provides all the necessary tools to produce applications and it follows the same style as all other dot net programming languages.

F# is a multiple-paradigm programming language that supports many methods of programming such as functional , object oriented or even imperative programming and it includes support for pattern matching, and also for synchronous as well as non-parallel programming and other functions.

The F# compiler as well as run time can be picked up from Microsoft download center for those who wish to experiment with the new language.
