Trend Micro has released its New HouseCall a web based utility which can scan your computer for viruses, trojans, sypwares and malwares which is a free utility. This release will support Windows 7 with 32 bit or 64 bit program launchers.

In this version we have to download the program launcher to our computer opposite to its earlier version which was completely online creating some browser compatibility issues, as the download completes it checks for checks for program updates.

You can choose from any of the scan options like Quick Scan or Full scan which may take a considerable time depending on your resources which it needs to be scanned. If you doubt that your computer has been infected then its best to run HouseCall overnight and your are not going to use your system.
