iPad though widely awaited did leave many people disappointed in terms of innovations as well as features.

The competing product from India, called the Adam tablet , which is being development for over 3 years, has just the hardware part completed, and the accompanying software is still under development. It is worth noting that it is the world’s 1st device to have two major power saving components built into one single device namely the Tegra 2 chip from nVidia and a PixelQi screen.
With the help of these two components it is able to achieve almost twice the battery milage as well performance compared to the iPad. It scores over the iPad with the capability of playing full hi-def movies and flash animation on a browser. It literally gives the user a feel of working with a computer while the battery usage seems to be that of a cell phone.

It features a 10 inch display which has a dual mode capability of being able to work in bright sunlight as well as normal light. When the backlight remains unused it offers 5 times normal battery life.

So all that needs to be done is that the software needs to be complete for the product be launched.
