An minor update for Firefox namely v3.5.8 and 3.0.18 is almost ready to be released soon. These updates are meant to increase the stability as well as security. According to Mozilla they are scheduled for RTW on feb.17 which was mentioned last week when the beta versions of these two were released.

The changes are by no means small, with as many as 30 fixes for the earlier released Firefox 3.0.18 and about 84 for Firefox 3.5.8. There is no mention of an update for the recently released Firefox 3.6. Also Mozilla mentioned that it will continue to develop updates for its previous products namely v3.0.x and 3.5.x

In addition there is already another update planned and in the pipeline namely, 3.0.19 and 3.5.9 and v3.6.2 so there is no hurry for customers to update to Firefox 3.6 .
