Before Chrome, Mozilla Firefox was the only browser that gave Internet Explorer a competition. Though there was Opera and Safari, they were not as popular Firefox. Both Opera and Safari has diehard fans who still use them. Undoubtedly they are good browsers, but couldn’t give Internet Explorer a competition when it comes to numbers. Mozilla last day release patch for five vulnerabilities. Three of them are critical updates. This has virtually extended the support life of 3.0 by at least one month. The patches are for older versions. Unless updated, the bug will allow hackers to inject malicious code into your system through the browser. Firefox 3.6 already has these patches. The flaws were in browser’s Gecko rendering engine, HTML parsers and their implementations of Web worker.
