If the PC is restarted while a Virtual WiFi is active

Windows 7 which was released a while back to a good response from customers and getting a good name, has slowly started leaking with a number of bugs turning up since its release. The latest among them is a bug in which the operating system starts creating a new 6to4 adapter on every reboot.

A 6to4 adapter is one created to bridge the gap between an IP 6 network and a normal IP4 network. The stated problem is known to occur when the computer is running a virtual Wi-Fi which is active and is then restarted without turning it off. From then on, the operating system automatically creates a new 6to4 adapter on every reboot.

Apparently other than windows 7, windows server 2008 R2 is also affected by the same issue.

The problem can be easily solved by stopping the Wireless Hosted network before you restart you computer by executing the netsh command.
