Internet explorer which is present as a part of windows 7 has been found to have compatibility issues with drive letter access. More specifically the problem is with the internet explorer add on installed by the software.
The problem is evident due to the error messages which warn the user that the particular addon can harm the internet explorer by causing to stop working and or crash completely. The user is also offered the choice to check online for an update to resolve the issue.
Drive Letter Access, which is made by the popular company roxio, is an utility for burning compact discs. Some time back, the name of the utility was changed from Drive Letter Acces to Roxio Burn and supposed the only way to solve the issue is to download and install the Roxio Burn software or that the addon can simply be disabled.
