Over the last , the new beta version of the popular opera browser has seen nearly half a dozen updates. While the earlier updates were mainly meant for the windows platform, the later ones also include those for other platforms like Linux.

Its worth noting that there were many updates in a single week and also there were equally significant changes especially with the caraken JavaScript engine. Right now the browser maker seems to be experimenting with new features, so it might be advisable to user the current version for important purposes.

In fact one the previous updated which used a newer bookmark format and it was switched back to the earlier bookmark format. The latest version has the bugs with the chained cache resolved. The company hopes to release the v10.50 RTM pretty soon at the pace with which it is going.
