We meet people we never knew over here chat with them and befriend them but not all netizens are friendly many bully you, harass you and spread viruses and malwares too. So it is very important to be safe when you are online. Follow these simple tips to make yourself and others related to you safe.

- Change passwords of your most used and important mail accounts frequently atleast one in a month.
- Don’t let out personal information regarding address and contact numbers to strangers online.
- Don’t put up photos on social networking sites. If you put up photos of your friends make sure you have their permission.
- Install and Update your antivirus periodically.
- Dont meet people who you have met online without informing parents.
- don’t open email attachments from people you don’t know
