Things are not going in Google’s way in Europe. The search giant is facing problems, first from the European commission for anti competition practices and now the result of Google Video law suit. It doesn’t look for Google employees four of them convicted for breaching the privacy law are given a suspended sentence. According to Judge Oscar Magi the four employees were not guilty of criminal defamation which is another charge over them. Arvind Desikan an executive of Google Video in Europe has been acquitted. The other employees named David Drummond, Peter Fleischer and George Reyes, were given suspended six – month sentences. All this is a part of recent move by Italy which is making some interesting decisions concerning internet. Most of them have free –speech implications.
