    Default Download Torrent Without Upload

Most of us are using slow internet and when uploading crosses a limit, the downloading speed suffers which normally occurs in Broadband. If you want to download a torrent client that only download not upload, it is here:"Bit Thief".

It never upload anything and thus you can download torrents fastly. Normally when we download and upload, the speed of browser decreases and by using this software, the problem can be solved.

It is actually not made for this work, it is actually a scientific project and they want to know - how much time is taken to connect the peers, download a files of different sizes and hash info.

Any way what be the reason, we have a client to download without upload.

    To know more about it:

    To download it:

    How download works:

But see the Bit Thief only download never upload...........

I think both upload and download channels are independent. Some trackers will decrease the download speed if you are not uploading much. The good thing I like of your posts is that they are rich with pictures which explain the working of the system. Keep posting.

I have used it and I can able to download torrents with about 150-160 KB/s that have normal number of seeders and peers.
But I do not recommend this because if all starts using it my downloading speed will decrease.

    Thanks........

Do you know I am too uploader, not much in Public Trackers but in private Trackers like seedgames.org.(uploaded over 150+ GB).

The worst thing in Seeding is that, when I set to upload at unlimited speed , the speed reaches 56-57 KB/s and after about 20-30 min. internet auto disconnects.I use Advanced Net Speed Up to auto ping websites after a min. so as it does not disconnect.

What's the harm in uploading, if you don't want to share than go download through rapidshare. The ones we are downloading from are uploading too and if they don't share then how can we complete our download so it better to share too.
