McAfee launches Vista compatible Security Applications Security application maker McAfee has announced the launch of their McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5 and McAfee AntiSpyware Enterprise 8.5 applications, which are now compatible with the recently launched Windows Vista operating system.
The company said that these updated versions go beyond simply offering protection via a database of signatures as they use advanced technology to protect the systems from both known and unknown threats.
Rees Johnson, vice president of product management, McAfee added his views on these new products: “McAfee is committed to supporting its customers with Windows Vista compatibility. The ever-changing threat environment is a real issue for our customers. McAfee VirusScan Enterprise and McAfee AntiSpyware Enterprise provide our business users with a more effective way to minimize risks from security threats.”
