Smile Gmail: best free mail service

Google not only rules the search engine market share but its other services also rank in one of the best. Googles gmail service is by far the most preferred free email service by all. Gmail provides for better security and is faster than other mail services.
The spam filter is really good in gmail as I rarely get any spammy messages in my inbox despite having displayed my gmail id on my website, all spammy messages go right into spam filter. The starred feature for tagging mails on gmail is also very helpful and unique. Along with all this you will not need to delete an email ever because the amount of space offered in gmail is just fantastic. Whats more you have inbuilt chat integration in the form of Gtalk and maps integration all in your mail account and now you also have the buzz networking tool too
Gmail ranks as one of the most popular free mail service because having a google account means a huge plus for all as a single gmail account enables to access host of other googles services like google docs and calender .
The introduction of intelligent networking tool the google BUZZ inside gmail and the supposed privacy bug also hasn’t prompted people to make a shift !
Fast spam less and efficient what else do you want and all this for free !!

In what ways do you say Yahoo is better than Gmail?

I think gmail is better because of their recent feature of reporting spam, where as when you report spam in other email accounts you still get the same emails back which you dont want. Another feature which is useful is how you can manage your emails into folders or groups.

@zooni, please add extra line breaks between paragraphs. Make reading easier.

@vorazeal and Preeti_20, Yahoo Mail is not necessarily better than GMail but equivalent. In any case, an email account cannot be so easily changed because it is registered for you everywhere.

I cannot read send Yahoo Mail in my O/E
But without logging to Gmail and looking at so many option/s there , I usually use O/E to send and receive with my gmail ID.
On limited Bandwidth 1 MB each from
    Airtel and BSNL.
Must use Free NU from Airtel (09PM to 08AM 2 Mbps: old user ), if needed to access GMail directly in Chrome or Firefox.
