Text to speech software is now available easily on the web and can be downloaded by anyone. Text to speech softwares are very important especially to the blind and visually challenged.
Even to the common man instead of starining eyes by reading mails you can create mp3 files and listen to it. Multitasking was never so easy and fun.
Text to speech softwares today are very advanced and come with a number of customizable option like choosing your choice of voice accent, language, converting tex into your choice of audio file types etc. Some of these softwares are available for free and some with wider range of option can be downloaded for a price. Screen readers and screen magnifiers are also of great help. Screen readers read out options on a menu also along with text in a document. Newer versions of such text to speech software can also allow for easy reading of web pages, graphics, and better internet access. These softwares can be loaded on a mobile phone and used in reading mesaages and other phonebook entries helping the blind.

I had visited the National Association of Blind a year back and I saw that many blind people using computers with the help of such softwares. NAB uses JAWS ( job access with speech) software.
Technology can sure help us overcome our disabilities.

Could you please suggest some good software for this ? I had tried 2 recently, and trust me, they were shitty...they are mostly paid...
