ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 2010 - Review

ZoneAlarm is widely known for it's famous firewall software which serves a free version which can help all the internet users who are in need of a good firewall, and want it to be free. ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 2010 has a lot of features. But, it still remains down on the list of the best internet security suites available in the market.

Pros

1.Extremely neat installation process. It explains each step well during the installation, and any kind of user can easily understand the way they are going.
2.The navigation menu in the left side can be used to access it's differnet parts.
3.The shut-down time is not affected significantly after installing ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 2010.
4.The virus detection engine is adopted from that of Kaspersky, adds it's own anti-spyware detection facility.
5.Paying an additional amount of $49.95 will give you access to premium support features, which allows a technician to remotely fix your PC.

Cons

1.It takes quite some clicks to get to some of the most frequently accessed settings.
2.The user interface is not too attractive as that of many other counterparts. It finds difficulty in capsuling all of it's functions in the main window.
3.The boot-up time seemed to increase quite a lot as compared to the increase in the boot-up time for other security suites.
4.One has to find their way into the online support website.

I have used the pro version and 15 days security suite. Nothing great about it. The firewall is very good. Protects almost every threats. Thanks for the info.
