Default need help on 3D software

i'm running on 256MB RAM laptop with 1.6Ghz processor.
lately i tried to download 3d software, Autodesk Maya Student 8.5
its minimum requirement is 1GB RAM and for sure i cant run it though i tried hard. can anyone suggest any 3D software suitable with my laptop spec?
