Default Would Microsoft get Vista out of market?

I recently heard that Bill Gates was not happy with the new Window (Vista). He himself liked XP more then Vista and also said that Vista could have been much better. I don't know what is the point to get a product out in market when its makers are not happy with it themselves. Do you think that microsoft would bet Vista out of market?

If that is true, it is too late for that. Already there are a lot of licenses sold.

They would come up with service packs and tweaks to make it work better.

Probably this could be just another rumour on microsoft, as there were around lakhs and lakhs of vista has been sold worldwide, how can he get it out, what will happen to those who used. Moreover, they are planning to stop support for xp and there have been great debate going on on that and how can he stop both!

I think this is normal that initially the product has some bugs & problems.....but vista is having a lil over.........the main problem is with the processing speed........they said 512mb ram will do........but i think it runs smoothly on 2gig or high......i think they will come with some updates & will not close the product for sure.

BTW i'm waiting for the XP sp3 coming in mid of this year....XP rocks

512 MB RAM will not do for Vista - minimum is 1 GB.

XP SP3 is already out and I have already installed it on my home PC. I posted a thread here in 'Computer Software' forum asking for feedback; but I did not get any. I decided to give it a try myself.

I did not face problems. The first part of the download is the MSI which is just the installer. Once that is downloaded, you launch it. Afterwards it starts downloading and (simultaneously) installing the bigger pieces (the components).
